If you are fighting a strong addiction,
I have for you a sad prediction.
a cranial synapse
will cause a relapse
and put you right back on the road to perdition.

Somehow my Dad managed to quit smoking.  Luckily I never started.  I don't know if I could have.

It causes me consternation

'Though he's past his prime

he gets TV time

even when he's not in contention.
